Congratulations to Dr. Liron Yoffe who received a tenure-track faculty position in Weill Cornell Medicine College.
Dr. Liron Yoffe earned her PhD in Medical & Health Sciences at TAU, as an Edmond J. Safra student fellow, in Prof. Noam Shomron's lab. She then pursued a postdoctoral position in Weill Cornell Medicine.
Dr. Yoffe joined the Weill Cornell Medicine in March 2025 as an Assistant Professor in Radiation Biology and Systems and Computational Biomedicine Departments.
Her lab studies how the tumor microenvironment influences cancer initiation, progression, and therapy response. Using advanced multi-omic and computational approaches, her team reveals the cellular and molecular dynamics driving disease evolution.
Dr. Yoffe is the Thirty-first alumna of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Bioinformatics who receives a tenure-track position in the academia.
