Edmond J. Safra Young Researchers' Forum
The graduate student fellows of the Center established a students-only forum for young bioinformatics researchers at TAU. Bioinformatics research is done by dozens of students from 50 groups across four faculties in the campus. The forum gives these students an opportunity to meet in an informal atmosphere, to get to know each other better, and to discuss issues of common interest. Overall, it acts as an intimate, supportive community for the young researchers.
The forum meets on a monthly basis. The meetings address mostly academic topics combined with social activities for forging the relationships among the participants. It also hosts a lively online forum for asking questions and exchanging information.
The forum is led by a committee of student volunteers. Students wishing to take part in the forum should contact a committee member or send an e-mail to: youngsafra@gmail.com
