July 2025: Ebenstein awarded ERC PoC grant
Prof. Yuval Ebenstein, Edmond J. Safra affiliate (Chemistry), won the European Research Council (ERC) PoC Grant.
Prof. Yuval Ebenstein, Edmond J. Safra affiliate (Chemistry), won the prestigious European Research Council (ERC) Proof of Concept Grant (PoC).
The grant intends to bridge the gap between the results of the basic research and the early phases of its commercialization. The ERC PoC grants are awarded only to researchers who have already won ERC grants in the past.
Prof. Ebenstein has been awarded in the past four ERC Proof of Concept (POC) grants and two individual ERC grants. He has also led two ERC research consortia.
His current ERC POC grant supports his groundbreaking research on diagnosing leukemia through epigenetic signature analysis.
