updated: 28.07.2021

The Edmond J. Safra Center for Bioinformatics aims to promote excellence in clinical bioinformatics research by bringing together bioinformatics scientists and clinicians. This year, the Center, partnering with the Cancer Center at Sheba Medical Center (SMC), published a call for grants with the intention to provide, for the first time, seed research grants to support fundamental and translational collaborative research that combines novel computational techniques and clinical applications. The grants are for the amount of 20,000 USD each.

Each submitted proposal was competitively and anonymously reviewed by four TAU and SMC researchers. Final decisions were made by the grant committee of Prof. Noam Shomron (TAU) and Dr. Talia Golan (SMC).
