August 2026: Menuhin-Gruman awarded outstanding PhD award of the Israeli Society for Synthetic Biology
Congratulations to Itamar Menuhin-Gruman, Edmond J. Safra PhD student fellow, who has been selected to receive the Outstanding PhD Award of the Israeli Society for Synthetic Biology (ISSB).
Itamar Menuhin-Gruman, Edmond J. Safra PhD student fellow (Tuller lab, Engineering) has been selected to receive the Outstanding PhD Award of the Israeli Society for Synthetic Biology (ISSB).
The award recognizes Itamar's doctoral research on computational approaches for improving the reliability and evolutionary stability of engineered biological systems. Recipients were selected based on submissions describing the full scope of their PhD research, with eligibility limited to students who had published in Q1 journals.
The award will be presented at the ISSB Annual Conference on September 3, 2026, at Tel Aviv University. The award also includes an invitation to give a short talk about the student's research at the conference.
