July 2025: Seven Edmond J. Safra researchers awarded ISF grants

Edmond J. Safra members and affiliates, Prof. Elhanan Borenstein (Computer Science & AI and Medical & Health Sciences), Prof. Eli Eisenberg (Physics), Prof. Tzachi Hagai (Life Sciences), Prof. Dan Halperin (Computer Science & AI), Dr. Yoav Ram (Life Sciences), Dr. Jérôme Tubiana (Computer Science & AI),  and Dr. Omri Wurtzel (Life Sciences) - were all awarded research grants from the Israel Science Foundation (ISF) in the 2025-2026 grants cycle.

 

Prof. Dan Halperin won the prestigious ISF grant for "Groundbreaking research" – a grant program for exceptionally innovative proposals, aiming to advance ambitious basic research with significant potential impact.

Dr. Jérôme Tubiana won a personal research grant and an additional equipment grant.

 

The ISF is the main body supporting basic science research in Israel, through a wide variety of funding mechanisms and in a variety of fields of knowledge. The support is based on scientific excellence.
