July 2021: Lahav is director of the World Debate Championship
Congratulations to Dan Lahav who has been appointed to the professional director of World University Debate Championship.
Dan Lahav, Edmond J. Safra MSc fellow (Shomron lab, Medicine, and Berant lab, Computer Science) whose resume includes over 100 awards in the world of debate, has been appointed to the prestigious role of the professional director of World University Debate Championship (WUDC). Dan is the first Israeli student appointed to this role.
The WUDC is a long-standing prestigious event, held since 1981. This year, the competition, starting on July 6 2021, will be held online, and be hosted by the city of Kuyang in South Korea. More than a thousand students, representing 250 universities and 45 countries, will participate.
