The School of Chemistry congratulates Dr. Muhammad Jbara for being chosen to get the Chair for Promotion of Young Faculty Members' revenues for the year 2025.

Dr. Jbara was chosen for his outstanding scientific achievements in the field of biological chemistry and bioorganic chemistry.

Also the School of Chemistry congratulates Dr. Jabara for being selected by the Swiss Chemical Society (SCS) as one of 14 young researchers from around the world to receive the 2025 JSP - Junior Scientists Participation - fellowship.

The selected young researchers were invited to participate in the Bürgenstock 2025 conference held last May in Switzerland. The prize is given in recognition of scientific achievements and in order to promote the next generation of scientific leaders from the academia and industry. The JSP award program recognizes outstanding early-career scientists and provides them the opportunity to engage with global thought leaders.

Dr. Jbara’s research centers on pioneering synthetic strategies to construct complex proteins, including oncogenic transcription factors, to uncover how they orchestrate the regulation of genes that drive cancer.
