July 2024: Edmond J. Safra Young Forum meets Iddo Weiner

The Edmond J. Safra young researchers' forum organized a meeting with Dr. Iddo Weiner, former Edmond J. Safra PhD fellow.

Iddo completed his PhD under the supervision of Edmond J. Safra member Prof. Tamir Tuller (Engineering) and Prof. Iftach Yakoby (Life Sciences). He is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Converge Bio.

Dr. Weiner shared his professional journey from his PhD research to his roles in two Biotech companies BiomX and Converge-Bio. He discussed with the participants topics as academia vs industry, alternative career paths and more.
