May 2019: Avraham, Geiger and Shamir win ISF Precision Medicine grants
As part of the National Program for Digital Health, the Israel Science Foundation (ISF) awarded a total of $60 million in grants in the field of personalized medicine.
As part of the National Program for Digital Health, the Israel Science Foundation (ISF) awarded a total of $60 million in grants in the field of personalized medicine.
Out of 111 proposals, 14 studies were awarded grants. Among the winning projects are three involving Edmond J. Safra PIs: Prof. Karen Avraham (Medicine), Prof. Tamar Geiger (Medicine) and Prof. Ron Shamir (Computer Science).
The winning proposals were selected in a competitive process by international reviewers headed by Nobel Laureate in Chemistry Prof. Roger Kornberg.
