Congratulations to Dr. Ran Finkelstein on Receiving a Prestigious Excellence Fellowship in Quantum Science and Technology
The School of Physics and Astronomy congratulates Dr. Ran Finkelstein, faculty member in the Condensed Matter Physics Division, on receiving a prestigious fellowship for outstanding new senior scientists in the field of quantum science and technology
The fellowship is awarded as part of the National Program for Quantum Science and Technology, initiated by the academic steering committee of Israel's Council for Higher Education – Planning and Budgeting Committee, chaired by Prof. Uri Sivan, and led by the Telem Forum.
The program aims to significantly advance quantum research in Israel, foster a leading scientific community, and establish quantum science as a national strategic domain.
Dr. Ran Finkelstein was selected as part of a select group of outstanding early-career researchers and will join the sixth cohort of the fellowship for the academic years 2025–2028.
This recognition reflects Dr. Finkelstein’s outstanding scientific achievements and his ongoing contribution to the advancement of quantum physics in Israel and globally.
