May 2026: Ben-David wins the 2026 Blavatnik award for young scientists

Congratulations to Prof. Uri Ben-David, Edmond J. Safra member (Medical & Health Sciences) who has been named a 2026 laureate of the prestigious Blavatnik award for young scientists, awarded by the Blavatnik Family Foundation.

Prof. Ben-David's lab uses genomic and functional approaches to study chromosomal instability in cancer, with a focus on aneuploidy, abnormal chromosome numbers in tumor cells. His work aims to advance understanding of cancer genetics and enable new paths toward personalized therapies.
