January 2024: Wagner joins University of California, Berkeley

Congratulations to Dr. Allon Wagner who received a tenure-track faculty position in UC Berkeley.

Dr. Wagner earned his MSc in Computer Science as an Edmond J. Safra student fellow in Prof. Eytan Ruppin's lab. He then graduated with a PhD in Computer Science from UC Berkeley, where he was also a postdoctoral scientist, working with Prof. Nir Yosef.

Dr. Wagner joined the Berkeley faculty in January 2024 as an Assistant Professor with a joint appointment in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences and the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, and as a member of the Center for Computational Biology.

Dr. Allon Wagner is the twenty-sixth alumnus of the Edmond J. Safra Center who receives a tenure-track position.
