January 2024: Obolski promoted to Associate Professor

Congratulations to Prof. Uri Obolski, Edmond J. Safra member, who was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure.

Prof. Obolski holds a joint position at the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Exact Sciences. 

Prof. Obolski's main research interests are the study of infectious diseases and their interactions with the environment, using mathematical and statistical models. His main research topics include prediction of antibiotic resistance, causal estimation of the effects of antibiotic consumption on resistance, and prediction of mosquito-borne virus dynamics based on climatic data.
