Congratulations to Gil Ramot, a student at Alpha Program, who won a special award for his research work, in the special awards category, in 2024 ISEF Regeneron competition.

May 2024: Gil Ramot, an Alpha Program student, won special prize at "2024 ISEF Regeneron competition"

The Alpha Program at Tel Aviv University for Youth is a program for talented and gifted high school students that allows them to integrate into the world of advanced scientific research. This program enables students to complete a science research project, under the supervision of a faculty member.

 

Gil Ramot, a student at Alpha Program, who performed a project under the supervision of Prof. Elhanan Borenstein (Computer Science School and Medical & Health Sciences Faculty) and his PhD student, Mor Tsamir, won a special award for his research work, in the special awards category, in 2024 ISEF Regeneron competition. Regeneron ISEF, the world’s largest pre-college STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) competition, took place on May 11-17, 2024 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This prestigious competition included 1,699 students from 60 countries around the world. Over 800 judges from various fields participated in the judging process. Gil received an invitation to a research camp in Italy and a gift from Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Italy.
