October 2024: Sharan is head of the School of Computer Science

Congratulations to Prof. Roded Sharan, Edmond J. Safra member, who is the new head of the School of Computer Science at the Exact Sciences Faculty at TAU.

The Blavatnik School of Computer Science promotes the forefront of scientific research, in fostering excellence and in training graduates in all degrees. The school's faculty's research stretches diverse fields and include research in cryptography, logic, theory, communication networks, parallel computing, programming languages, bioinformatics, robotics, neural computing, computer graphics, computer vision, and more. The world-class faculty members are active in hundreds of conference committees, members of dozens of scientific journals’ editorial boards, and participate in scientific committees in Israel and abroad. The numerous scientific awards of the school's faculty members are further proof of their scientific excellence.
