June 2019: Miller wins the Azrieli fellowship

Congratulations to Danielle Miller, Edmond J. Safra PhD fellow (Stern & Burstein labs, Life Sciences), who won the Azrieli fellowship for excellent PhD students in the sciences.

The Azrieli Fellows Program promotes excellence in graduate studies. This competitive and prestigious program provides up to ten fellowships annually to outstanding PhD students in Israel. The Foundation's goal is to create a cadre of leading professionals and academics who will increase the pool of technological and scholarly human resources in Israel.

In her research Danielle is characterizing host-pathogen interactions to better understand the basis of infectious and genetic diseases using innovative computational approaches.

Very recently, Danielle led the highly publicized Stern lab study on covid-19.
