May 2023: Carmit Levy: Breakthrough in fight against skin cancer
A joint study led by Prof. Carmit Levy, Edmond J. Safra affiliate, and Prof. Shoshana Greenberger of Sheba Medical Center, showed for the first time that melanoma skin cancer cells form new lymphatic vessels in the dermis layer.

The study, published in Nature’s Journal of Investigative Dermatology, may later lead to the development of a general vaccine against the most aggressive and deadly skin cancer.
