In memoriam - Prof. Benny Chor z"l

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our colleague, Prof. Benny Chor ז"ל.

Prof. Chor did seminal work in cryptography, was one of the pioneers of bioinformatics, and a gifted and loved teacher. He served as Head of the School of Computer Science in the years 2018 - 2020.

Prof. Chor was a member of the Edmond J. Safra Center since its inception sixteen years ago.
