December 12, 2018: Edmond J. Safra Biomedical Informatics Entrepreneurs Salon
The Salon is a bi-monthly forum to promote entrepreneurship at the convergence of biology, medicine, and computing. In addition to hearing industry leaders speak, participants will have the chance to look for collaborators, employees, advisors, customers, or investors.
Our goal is to generate a meeting, interaction and networking forum for academics, industry, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists interested in joining together biology, medicine and computing.
Meetings will be divided into three parts: a 30 minutes talk by a savvy participant, followed by 30 minutes for questions and answers, and ending in 30 minutes of networking (and some food).
The salon series is a collaboration with the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School and the BIES series.
The first meeting will be held on December 12th, 2018 at 17:15 in The Porter School of Environmental Studies, Tel Aviv university.
Speaker: Dr. Mor Amitai, CTO iCarbonX (Israel), who will talk about: "Personalized healthcare: challenges in joining biology, medicine, and computing".
Entrance is free but registration is required due to limited space.
