Congratulations to Prof. Yoel Shkolnisky, Edmond J. Safra member (Mathematical Sciences) who was named the Eric and Sheila Samson Chair in Optimization.
Prof. Shkolnisky is a faculty member in the Dept. of Applied Mathematics, in the School of Mathematical Sciences. His research focuses on algorithms for cryo-electron microscopy data processing and mathematical methods for biomedical imaging.
