Abstract: NRGene is building cutting edge analytical solutions for large scale genomic data usage in plants, animals and possibly human in the future. The talk will describe NRGene’s cloud-based bioinformatics platform that is currently used by several of the largest seed companies in the world.

Guy will describe the theoretical and practical considerations that had driven the software development process and. NRGene’s journey from a concept to a global company. 

 

The Salon is a bi-monthly forum to promote entrepreneurship at the convergence of biology, medicine, and computing.

In addition to hearing industry leaders speak, participants will have the chance to look for collaborators, employees, advisors, customers, or investors. Our goal is to generate a meeting, interaction and networking forum for academics, industry, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists interested in joining together biology, medicine and computing.
