August 2023: Miller wins the Trotsky Foundation Award

Congratulations to Danielle Miller, Edmond J. Safra PhD student fellow (Burstein & Stern labs, Life Sciences) who won the David and Paulina Trotsky Foundation Award for excellent PhD students.

The scholarship is awarded at TAU annually to outstanding PhD students from the following disciplines: Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences (Biochemistry and Microbiology) and Medicine.

Danielle won the prize for her research titled "Sequence based methods and language models for microbial genomics".
